Promises cannot just be sure for fulfillment
Not unless there be an agreement on the promises made then be sure it will come to you.

Offerings are made when we make promises and agreement with the Lord

GENESIS 15:1-12
God is making promises to God. Though the Abram seem to doubt the promises of God , promises of the Lord are very big and great.
God is promising and Abram is asking questions for clarity form God.
For promises to be fulfilled there must be an altars to make sacrifice.
God can add unto what is on you die to the offerings and sacrifices we make unto God.

No blessings comes to anyone without a price. God blesses when there are sacrifices. Parents too can't bless empty handed.

To fulfill the promises To Abram, God told Abram to choice from his animals for him to make offerings to the Lord.

Secret to blessing before the Lord is Offering.
Abram was guarding his offering, when we make offerings and sacrifices vultures might come to eat the offerings chase the away not to destroy the altar made.

After making the offerings and sacrifices there enters an agreement.

WHATEVER YOU AGREE DON'T CHANGE YOUR MIND

Whatever is God's give it unto the Lord.

Abel and Cain offering to God, whatever the they desired to give to the Lord. The way of presenting the offering mattered before the Lord. God accepted Abel's offerings but declined the offerings of Cain .
God asks us to offer what the Lord we have.

God visits those who opens the door for the Lord. If you fail to open your heart to the Lord then you shut blessings of the Lord form the Lord.
