Theme: GIVING
we give necessarily to God
Give yourself first as a living sacrifice.
Even as we give the thing we own.
We give to the glory of lord, a sacrifice Holy and acceptable to the Lord
Giving is a way of worship unto the lord.

Romans 12:1- holy and accepptable
Psalms 24:24
God accept a sacrifice that we give by pain and suffering .the manner you give yourself , are you doing it as for the Lord .
Give a holy and acceptable to the Lord ....if whatever you do do it as though doing it unto the Lord
Give willing fully as unto the Lord
Abraham out of a willing heart even after receiving a son we gave his son Genesis 22:19
Mark 12:42
Jesus commented gat the widow who gave sacrificial unto the lord.... She gave all of herself and waited unto the lord. God looks in heart.
Don't give out of the abundance of own or riches give out of a willing heart.

Philippians 4:18 - sweet smell ,acceptable and well pleasing To the Lords

Mathew 6:1-4 Be careful!! Not to give for men to see
If not careful then there is no reward from God in heaven
Don't be like hypocrite, who give and praise themselves after giving to the needy. Give whole heartily and give in secret and God will reward us.

2 Corinthians 9:6-7 - Give what you have purposed to give!!! Give Sparingly leap sparingly and give bountifully leap bountifully

God love a cheerful giver and give whole hearted

2 Corinthians 8:1-5 Give as in your deep poverty.
It does not matter how poor you are but it matters a lot how you give. Give cheerfully as the people in Corinthians
Give yourself first to the Lord and then to the thing of God .

Freely you have received and freely you give.

Luke 6:36 Give and it shall be given unto you.
Same measure you give you shall it be measured unto you.

Type of giving

a) Alms - food clothing and also housing unto the poor people . let it be a memorial unto the lord. Proverbs 19:17;28:27

b)Tithes - 10% of our increase... Leviticus 27:30; Malachi 3:10 - why should you rob God. We must pay tithes to receive blessings unto the lord.

c) Offerings / sacrifices- anything over and above the time. Best thing is giving yourself unto the lord then material possession. 2 Corinthians 12:14-15

d) Thanksgivings- we give thanks everyday for this is the will of God unto our live .
1 Thessalonians 5:18

e) First fruit offering - when we climb another ladder or a new land give the first position unto the lord.this acknowledges God provision by the lord

f) Seed - Giving to the lord for breakthroughs.
