Fear of God

******.THE FEAR OF GOD*******

Is defined as Extreme veneration( treating with great respect ie to revere)or  awe(overwhelming), as toward GOD.
NOW THE FEAR OF GOD is the beginning of wisdom. Its understanding and acknowledging the supremacy of God. Firstly the fear of the Lord is with them that have accepted Jesus as the saviour and the Lord. Therefore you have been made the righteousness of God in CHRIST.

Meaning you are standing right with God so u are not an endangered species since you are born not of corruptible things like silver and gold but of the precious blood of Jesus Christ by the abiding word of God ACCORDING TO THE FOREKNOWLEDGE OF GOD hence you have pleased God since you have believed in the one he sent(Jesus Christ).

This tells us that we don't fear God as the world defines fear as A strong, uncontrollable, unpleasant emotion caused by actual or perceived danger or threat.

But THE FEAR OF THE LORD IS TO HATE WHAT GOD HATES AND LOVE WHAT GOD LOVES. proverb 8:13 says the fear of the Lord is to hate evil.
Know that you have a right standing with God and so to fear him is to do according to his will and purpose.

Rom8:28b...... For those who are called according to his purpose. That's why he did not give us the spirit of fear again to bondage but the Spirit of power, of wisdom and of sound mind.

Know this THE FEAR OF GOD CAST AWAY THE FEAR OF DISASTER since you are safe in God's protection. THE FEAR OF GOD IS TO LOVE HIM. JESUS SAID IF YOU LOVE ME YOU WILL KEEP MY COMMAND WHICH IS TO BELIEVE IN CHRIST.
