CREATING NEW HEALTHY HABITS

Creating new healthy habits and making them apart of your routine and then sticking to them is tough!

It seems like the first few days go well. Then you miss a day because things didn't go to plan. And then you manage to do the next day, but then by the next day you forget. And before you know it, all your best intentions and efforts have failed.

It doesn't feel great to try a new habit and fail to stick to it. Especially when you really want to make new healthy changes in your life.

Listen, you are not alone in this! Sooo many people struggle to stick to new habits, even those who seem to have a ton of will power.

The problem is, people try to start a new habit but they put no thought into how they plan it or keep track of it. And this is just as important as anything!

The key to being successful in creating new healthy habits that stick is to plan them and track them. This seems so simple, that's because it is!

The 11 Universal Laws

Law of Thinking

What we believe is what we see.  Thoughts —> Feelings —> Action —> Physical manifestation.  Your mind is like a garden and negative thoughts are like weeds to tend to.  You have the power to change your thoughts, but will never stop thinking. Because the Universal Laws follow nature, we too must follow the patterns of nature. Nature is governed by order and discipline, therefore we must be disciplined about our thinking.  ALL action is the result of a thought. In order to have anything in your external world, you must first create the picture in your mind (visualize).

I AM the creator of my thoughts.  I choose to think thoughts in alignment with my truest desires.

Law of Supply

There is ONE source of supply.  Nothing is created or destroyed, only transmuted.  When there is a demand in the collective consciousness, an idea (inspired idea/inspired action) is given to those who are open to receiving.  There is always supply when there is a demand. If there is no demand, there will be no supply. Fret and worry will cut off any supply trying to make its way to you.  Poverty is the result of a poverty consciousness (either collective or individual). Our mind is like a magnet. The more we fret and worry, the weaker the magnet becomes.  When you expect work/business to increase/improve, Law of Supply will always open another door before one is closed. Think, talk, and LIVE as though the supply is abundant and unlimited (because it is).  

I KNOW there is an abundance of resources and if one door closes another door always opens.  I TRUST that I am always taken care of by the unlimited source of supply.

Law of Attraction

The power of the Law of Attraction is EXPECTATION.  What you expect you receive. “Never expect a thing you do not want and never desire a thing you do not expect.”  Expectation: take action forward in faith. Form a clear picture in your mind of what you desire. Visualize from a calm, peaceful, and relaxed state.  Take action from a place of expectation. Focus on your interests that bring you joy (whether or not they are related to the thing you desire). It’s all about the FEELING.  Passion attracts. Work through interest/passion/expectation without worrying how/when the pay will come. Expect your desires to come no matter how long it takes. You will only ever receive as much as you expect.  

I EXPECT my desires are on the way.  I invest my time in joy, love, passion, and peace trusting everything is always working out for my highest good.

Law of Receiving

In order to receive, you must first give without obligation or restriction.  You can only receive what you give and you can only give what you have. In order to receive love, you must first give love.  In order to receive abundance, you must first give from an energy of abundance. The Law of Receiving is Give/Receive 50/50. Give only to those who are willing to help themselves.  Do not help those who do not try – it is a waste of your gifts. “You cannot build something on nothing and expect something in return.” We are always receive what we give and prepare for.  Whatever you expect is what you will receive. Many times you will receive contrast in order to understand the law better – knowledge is received. If you restrict your giving, you will feel restricted in living (poverty).  Always give where it feels good.

I GIVE with ease, love, and joy knowing that what I give is always what I will receive in return.

Law of Increase

Praise everything!  Praise BEFORE you receive.  Praise does not influence God/Spirit/Source/Universe.  Praise uplifts you. The purpose of prayer is not to plead or beg.  Prayer is used for declaring, praising, and should feel joyful. The power of praise is it changes our outlook on life.  The purpose of praise is for what’s to come, not what has already been. Praise = faith in action. Faith is measured BEFORE we receive, not after.

I AM grateful for all things in my life – the seen and unseen.  I trust everything I receive is always for my highest good and for that I am thankful.

Law of Compensation

The Law of Attraction is always bringing us what we need for our soul’s growth.  In order to attract the better we must BECOME the better. We attract bigger and better when we become too big for our current place.  As we look for the good, we are continuously guided to more good. The opposite is also true. You receive through what you think and talk about.  

If you’re struggling to receive desired compensation ask yourself:

Do I expect something for nothing? (Always be willing to pay your way)

Do I hunt for something cheap? (Cheap thoughts only bring cheap returns)

Do I hate paying bills? (Release your money cheerfully)

I AM always attracting what I most need to thrive.  I LOVE releasing my money knowing it is always coming back to me!

Law of Non-resistance

Give thoughts, time, and energy to what you want most.  Instead of working against what you DON’T want, work for what you DO want.  Talk in the direction of what you are creating. When you work against what you don’t want, you create friction.  Friction, opposition, and resistance will create burnout. No matter how long it may take, as long as you follow the path of least resistance (what feels easy and joyful), you will always meet your goal.  “Bless the obstacle and move on.”

I TRUST everything is working FOR me.  All obstacles give me even more clarity on what I want.  I CHOOSE to follow the path of least resistance.

Law of Forgiveness

Forgive and let go of everything.  You cannot change the past, so choose to let it go.  The physical reaction you experience from guilt is the worst out of all the emotions.  Forgiveness is like weeding a garden, plucking negative thoughts out so that happy, positive thoughts can grow instead.  When you think a negative thought, forgive it in order to stop the creation of that thought.  

I forgive myself for not knowing what I didn’t know.  I forgive others for not knowing what they don’t know.

Law of Sacrifice

Success can only come from conscious discipline.  You cannot create what you desire until you learn to control your thoughts.  In life, something is always being sacrificed in order to receive something else.  Sacrifice is simply just barting one thing for another. You must be willing to sacrifice something of a lower nature in order to receive something of a higher nature.

I RELEASE what no longer serves me in order to create space for what I truly desire.  What I seek is always seeking me!

Law of Obedience

God/Law does not reward or punish.  Are you loyal to the laws of nature (Universal Law) or the laws of the land (the rules/beliefs you grew up with)?  All problems in life are due to the obedience or lack of obedience to the laws. “Whatever law you obey is what will serve you.”  

I CHOOSE to follow the Universal Laws knowing I am always Divinely supported.

Law of Success

Success is inevitable when the laws are obeyed.  All you need to succeed is already within you. You will always feel nudged to move forward with your soul’s growth.  Contrast only comes when you fail to move forward and grow. Half of our failures come from pulling in when we should leap.  The only way to succeed is to move forward. The one who thinks he can versus the one who thinks he can’t is the ONLY distinction between success and failure.  What is possible for one is possible for all.

I KNOW success is inevitable.  I move forward in faith knowing I am always supported on my path to my highest good.

How to apply it: Practice relating your situation to something worse than yours and you will feel good about where you are.

The Law of Cause and Effect

The Law of Cause and Effect states that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. Every cause has an effect, and every effect has a cause. Be at cause for what you desire, and you will get the effect. All thought is creative, so be careful what you wish for… you will get it. How to apply it: Consistently think and act on what you desire to be effective at getting it.

The Law of Polarity

The Law of Polarity states that everything has an opposite. Hot-Cold, Light-Dark, Up-Down, Good-Bad. In the absence of that which you are not, that which you are… is not. Polar opposites make existence possible. If what you are not didn’t coexist with what you are, then what you are could not be. Therefore, do not condemn or criticize what you are not or what you don’t want. How to apply it: Look for the good in people and situations. What you focus on, you make bigger in your life.

The Law of Rhythm

The Law of Rhythm states that everything has a natural cycle. The tides go in and back out, night follows day, and life regenerates itself. We all have good times and bad times, but nothing stays the same. Change is constant. Knowing that “This too shall pass” is great wisdom about life’s ebb and flow. How to apply it: When you are on a downswing, know that things will get better. Think of the good times that are coming.

The Law of Gestation

The Law of Gestation states that everything takes time to manifest. All things have a beginning and grow into form as more energy is added to it. Thoughts are like seeds planted in our fertile minds that bloom into our physical experience if we have nourished them. How to apply it: Stay focused and know that your goals will become reality when the time is right.

The Law of Transmutation

The Law of Transmutation states that energy moves in and out of physical form. Your thoughts are creative energy. The more you focus your thinking on what you desire, the more you harness your creative power to move that energy into results in your life. The Universe organizes itself according to your thoughts.
