Paint a compelling career journey

Creating a logical, progression-driven narrative of your professional growth.

✔ Show career progression by highlighting increased responsibility and impact over time

✔ Include soft skills (like leadership or collaboration) within the context of hard results
✔ Keep achievement statements concise, specific, and outcome-oriented

Demonstrate written communication skills

Using clarity, precision, and professional tone to reflect your communication ability.

✔ Write in a concise, direct style; avoid long paragraphs and jargon
✔ Ensure smooth flow between sections with clear, logical headings
✔ Ask a detail-oriented friend or mentor to review for clarity and impact

Customize for every application

Tailoring your document to speak directly to each specific role and company.
✔ Study the job description and identify the top 5-6 required skills and experiences
✔ Reword your professional summary and key achievements to align with these priorities
✔ Research the company culture and values; reflect relevant soft skills in your narrative
✔ Prioritize the most relevant experiences, even if it means shortening older or less-related roles
✔ Save a uniquely named version of your CV for each application to keep track

Present yourself as a cultural fit

Showing you are a well-rounded professional, not just a set of skills.
✔ Include a brief "Interests" or "Additional Information" section to reveal personality (e.g., volunteer work, relevant hobbies)
✔ Weave soft skills (e.g., "cross-functional team leadership," "client relationship management") into your achievement bullets
✔ If applicable, highlight experiences that demonstrate adaptability, learning agility, or collaboration
✔ Ensure the overall tone of the CV matches the industry's professionalism (e.g., creative for marketing, precise for engineering)
✔ Convey professionalism and attention to detail through every formatting choice

CREATING NEW HEALTHY HABITS

Creating new healthy habits and making them apart of your routine and then sticking to them is tough!

It seems like the first few days go well. Then you miss a day because things didn't go to plan. And then you manage to do the next day, but then by the next day you forget. And before you know it, all your best intentions and efforts have failed.

It doesn't feel great to try a new habit and fail to stick to it. Especially when you really want to make new healthy changes in your life.

Listen, you are not alone in this! Sooo many people struggle to stick to new habits, even those who seem to have a ton of will power.

The problem is, people try to start a new habit but they put no thought into how they plan it or keep track of it. And this is just as important as anything!

The key to being successful in creating new healthy habits that stick is to plan them and track them. This seems so simple, that's because it is!

UNIVERSAL LAWS PRACTICE

Universal Laws are principles that govern all of reality, based on the understanding that everything is energy and consciousness. They involve aligning your thoughts, emotions, and actions with these natural frequencies to consciously create your life experience. This is achieved by applying these laws deliberately, moving from passive observation to active participation in shaping your reality.

The law of thinking

Your reality is created by your thoughts; the mind is a garden you must tend.
✔ Consciously choose thoughts that align with your desires, not your fears
✔ Visualize your desired outcomes with clarity and emotional detail
✔ Weed out negative thoughts as soon as you notice them
✔ Understand all action begins with a thought; guard your mental space
✔ Affirm daily: "I am the creator of my thoughts"

The law of vibration

Everything in the universe vibrates at a specific frequency; like attracts like.
✔ Focus your thoughts consistently on what you want to attract
✔ Elevate your personal vibration through gratitude, joy, and kindness
✔ Surround yourself with people and environments that resonate at a high frequency
✔ Release low-vibrational emotions like resentment and worry
✔ Understand your dominant emotional state is your primary point of attraction

The law of supply

There is one infinite source; abundance flows where consciousness allows.
✔ Trust that when there is a genuine need, inspired ideas will be provided
✔ Release fret and worry, as they block the flow of supply
✔ Think, speak, and act as though abundance is unlimited
✔ Expect new doors to open before others close
✔ Affirm: "I trust I am always taken care of by unlimited supply"

The law of attraction

What you consistently expect with feeling, you attract into reality.
✔ Form a clear mental picture of your desires from a calm, peaceful state
✔ Take action from a place of joyful expectation, not anxious striving
✔ Focus on interests and passions that bring you joy
✔ Never expect what you don't truly want
✔ Affirm: "I expect my desires are on their way"

The law of receiving

You can only receive what you willingly give; giving and receiving are equal.
✔ Give love, attention, and resources freely to receive them in return
✔ Give only where it feels good and aligned
✔ Help those willing to help themselves
✔ Prepare yourself to receive by expecting blessings
✔ Give without obligation, restriction, or resentment

The law of cause and effect

Every thought and action has a corresponding and proportionate result.
✔ Take full responsibility for your life outcomes
✔ Plant deliberate "seeds" through focused thought and aligned action
✔ Observe habitual thoughts as the primary causes of your conditions
✔ Correct unwanted effects by changing their root causes
✔ Trust consistent positive causes produce positive effects

The law of increase

What you praise and appreciate multiplies; praise is faith in action.
✔ Praise and express gratitude for blessings before they physically appear
✔ Use prayer for joyful declaration, not pleading
✔ Praise what's to come, demonstrating faith in the unseen
✔ Let praise change your outlook and elevate your vibration
✔ Affirm: "I am grateful for all things, seen and unseen"

The law of compensation

You attract what matches your inner state; to attract better, become better.
✔ Look for the good continuously to be guided to more good
✔ Release money cheerfully, knowing it returns multiplied
✔ Avoid cheap thoughts and expectations of getting something for nothing
✔ Understand you receive through what you consistently think and talk about
✔ Become "too big" for your current circumstances to attract greater ones

The law of non-resistance

Flow follows the path of least resistance; work for what you want, not against what you don't.
✔ Direct thoughts, time, and energy toward what you desire
✔ Avoid creating friction by fighting against unwanted circumstances
✔ Speak in the direction of what you're creating
✔ Bless obstacles and move around them
✔ Follow what feels easy and joyful

The law of forgiveness

Release the past to create space for new blessings; guilt blocks growth.
✔ Forgive yourself and others completely
✔ Release past mistakes, knowing everyone acted from their level of awareness
✔ Pluck negative thoughts like weeds from your mental garden
✔ Stop the creation chain of negative thoughts through forgiveness
✔ Affirm: "I forgive myself and others for not knowing what we didn't know"

The law of sacrifice

To receive something higher, you must release something of a lower nature.
✔ Practice conscious discipline over your thoughts
✔ Be willing to sacrifice old habits, beliefs, and comforts for growth
✔ Understand success requires exchanging lower vibrations for higher ones
✔ Release what no longer serves you to create space for what you desire
✔ Trust that what you seek is also seeking you

The law of obedience

Your life reflects which laws you obey—universal laws or limiting man-made beliefs.
✔ Choose loyalty to universal principles over inherited limitations
✔ Understand all problems stem from disobedience to natural laws
✔ Align your actions with universal order and discipline
✔ Affirm: "I choose to follow universal laws knowing I am divinely supported"
✔ Observe which laws you're currently obeying through your life results

The law of success

Success is inevitable when universal laws are obeyed; it's already within you.
✔ Move forward when nudged by your intuition; don't pull back from growth
✔ Understand the only distinction between success and failure is belief
✔ Know that what's possible for one is possible for all
✔ Trust all you need to succeed is already within you
✔ Affirm: "I know success is inevitable as I follow natural laws"

UNIVERSAL LAWS

Universal Laws are principles that govern all of reality, based on the understanding that everything is energy and consciousness. They involve aligning your thoughts, emotions, and actions with these natural frequencies to consciously create your life experience. This is achieved by applying these laws deliberately, moving from passive observation to active participation in shaping your reality.

The law of vibration

Everything in the universe vibrates at a specific frequency; like attracts like.
✔ Focus your thoughts consistently on what you want to attract, not on what you fear or lack
✔ Elevate your personal vibration through gratitude, joy, and acts of kindness
✔ Surround yourself with people, environments, and media that resonate at a high frequency
✔ Release low-vibrational emotions like resentment and worry through forgiveness and presence
✔ Understand that your dominant emotional state is your primary point of attraction

The law of relativity

Nothing is good or bad, big or small, until you relate it to something else.
✔ Practice reframing challenges by comparing them to a greater difficulty
✔ See problems as necessary contrasts that define and make possible your desires
✔ Use relativity to cultivate gratitude for your current blessings and circumstances
✔ Detach from judgment by understanding all experience is relative to your perspective
✔ Choose empowering comparisons that make you feel resourceful and capable

The law of cause and effect

Every action has a corresponding and proportionate reaction; thoughts are causes.
✔ Take full responsibility for your life outcomes as effects of your mental and physical causes
✔ Plant deliberate "seeds" through focused thought, clear intention, and aligned action
✔ Observe your habitual thoughts, as they are the primary causes of your life conditions
✔ Correct unwanted effects by changing their root causes in your thinking and behavior
✔ Trust that consistent, positive causes will inevitably produce positive effects

The law of polarity

Everything has an equal and exact opposite; opposites are identical in nature but different in degree.
✔ Look for the opportunity or blessing hidden within every difficulty or setback
✔ Understand that the presence of a problem implies the existence of its solution
✔ Refrain from condemning what you dislike, as your attention gives it energy
✔ Consciously shift your focus from the negative pole to the positive pole in any situation
✔ Embrace challenges as they define and make desirable their opposing victories

The law of rhythm

Everything moves in natural cycles and patterns; change is constant and rhythmic.
✔ Accept downswings as natural phases that precede upswings
✔ During challenging times, affirm "this too shall pass" and maintain steady habits
✔ Use periods of high energy and momentum to build foundations for slower cycles
✔ Avoid making permanent decisions based on temporary emotional states
✔ Align your efforts with natural cycles instead of resisting them

The law of gestation

All things manifest after an incubation period; every seed has its appointed time.
✔ Plant your desire firmly in your mind through visualization and emotional feeling
✔ Nurture your goals with consistent thought and faith during the unseen growth period
✔ Resist digging up the "seed" with doubt, impatience, or contradictory actions
✔ Trust the process of manifestation by focusing on the feeling of the wish fulfilled
✔ Use the gestation period for preparation and personal development

The law of transmutation

Human consciousness can change the nature of energy and transform reality.
✔ Direct the power of your focused attention to transmute challenges into opportunities
✔ Consistently apply mental energy (thought) and physical energy (action) toward your aims
✔ Understand that sustained personal vibration can elevate surrounding conditions
✔ Practice turning negative experiences into fuel for growth and greater desire
✔ Become a conscious channel for transforming universal energy into tangible results

HABIT FORMATION

Habit formation is the deliberate practice of wiring new, beneficial behaviors into your daily routine until they become automatic. It involves strategic planning, consistent tracking, and compassionate persistence. It is achieved by starting small, engineering your environment for success, and focusing on systems rather than willpower alone.

Start with one small habit

Focusing all your initial energy on a single, manageable change to build momentum.
✔ Choose one simple habit that takes less than two minutes to complete
✔ Attach your new habit to an existing, non-negotiable part of your daily routine
✔ Define the habit with crystal clarity: "I will [ACTION] at [TIME] in [LOCATION]"
✔ Make the first step so easy you cannot say no to doing it
✔ Commit to a 30-day initial focus before considering adding another habit

Engineer your environment

Designing your physical and digital spaces to make the desired behavior inevitable.
✔ Remove visible obstacles and friction points that stand between you and the habit
✔ Place necessary tools or items for the habit in an obvious, convenient location
✔ Use visual cues (like sticky notes or app icons) as reminders to act
✔ Arrange your schedule to create a protected time window for the habit
✔ Make the undesirable alternative behavior more difficult to access

Plan for imperfection

Creating a realistic strategy for maintaining progress through life’s inevitable disruptions.
✔ Acknowledge in advance that you will miss a day—this is normal, not failure
✔ Define your "minimum viable habit"—the smallest version you can do on a bad day
✔ Design a "recovery ritual" for getting back on track immediately after a miss
✔ Identify your most common habit disruptors and create a simple "if-then" plan for each
✔ View each day as a fresh start, not as part of a "perfect streak" you must maintain

Track progress visibly

Using simple, tangible systems to measure consistency and create accountability.
✔ Use a physical calendar or habit-tracking app to mark each successful day with an "X"
✔ Focus on consistency, not performance—the mark represents that you did the habit
✔ Review your tracker weekly to spot patterns and celebrate your chain of successes
✔ Never break the chain twice in a row; make getting back on track your #1 priority
✔ Keep the tracking system simple and satisfying to maintain

Scale intensity gradually

Increasing the habit’s difficulty only after the routine itself is firmly established.
✔ Master the tiny version of the habit for at least two weeks before expanding it
✔ Use the "2-Minute Rule": start by practicing the habit for just two minutes
✔ Increase duration, frequency, or intensity by no more than 10% per week
✔ Focus on showing up consistently; let the quality and depth improve naturally over time
✔ Separate the habit of doing from the skill of improving—master the first before the second

Reframe your identity

Linking the new behavior to the type of person you are becoming.
✔ Shift your self-talk from "I'm trying to" to "I am someone who..."
✔ Celebrate every repetition as proof of your new identity, not just a checked box
✔ Share your new identity with a supportive person to reinforce the commitment
✔ Let go of the old identity that was tied to the behavior you are replacing
✔ Choose habits that feel authentic and aligned with your core values

Leverage social support

Building a network of accountability and encouragement to sustain motivation.
✔ Tell one supportive person about your specific habit and daily check-in plan
✔ Join a community (online or in-person) focused on similar habit goals
✔ Find a habit partner to check in with daily or weekly
✔ Share your progress, not just your struggles, to reinforce positive momentum
✔ Ask for specific encouragement when your motivation dips

Analyze and adjust

Using data and self-reflection to refine your approach and overcome sticking points.
✔ At the end of each week, review what worked and what created friction
✔ Ask yourself: "What made it easier to succeed? What made it harder?"
✔ Tweak one element of your habit plan (time, location, cue, or routine) if you're struggling
✔ Be a scientist with your own behavior—experiment, observe results, and adapt
✔ Remember that the goal is a sustainable lifestyle, not a perfect short-term performance

FINANCIAL FOUNDATION ACTIONS

Financial freedom is the daily practice of aligning your actions with your long-term vision through simple, consistent systems. It involves ...
